What is the Enneagram?

The enneagram is a personality assessment which indicate how one functions within specific situations or deals with trauma, by focusing on three scenarios, either:
i) feeling the impact of the trauma/situation in the body and act or react with anger (Numbers 8,9, & 1)
ii) dealing with the trauma/situation in the mind and act or react with anxiety (Numbers 5,6,& 7)
iii) feeling the impact of the trauma/situation in the heart and act or react with different emotions (emotional) (Numbers 2,3,& 4)
The enneagram is divided into 9 different personality types which are grouped in three’s and the flow of acting or reacting will also be attended to.
Each number indicates the:
a) Core behaviour of the person
b) Traps you can be challenged with
c) Aspects you need to avoid

Thursday 11 April 2024: Strengthening Your Self-Image through Colour (Cost R 550 – 00)

The Colour Wheel

The wheel is used to address the boundary issues pertaining to the different aspect relating to your support system. It further indicates suppressed situations to deal with as well as the effect of the trauma or problem on the person’s self-image. Qualities to be used when dealing with specific problems are dealt with to ensure that the suggested recommendations are within the person’s ability. Each segment of the wheel indicates a specific unique feature or support system of the person to be addressed.

Saturday 13 April 2024: Introduction to The Body systems and Essentials oils (Cost R 700 – 00)

There are 11 Bodily systems that are the core for strengthening the body.
Come and partake in an enjoyable workshop whereby the bodily systems in general will be discussed.
The workshop presentation is then completed by partaking in a practical session in making some products stimulating and supporting the systems.
These products will cover relevant products to the system under discussion such as Bath oils, soaps, bath salts and body scrubs, body balms, etc.
This workshop will be the first of a series of 12 workshops.
The first workshop on 13 April will cover the outlay of each system in the body and making of products.
Thereafter individual workshops will follow with focus on relevant products supporting the specific system under discussion.

Section 2: Assessment of the stress experienced by dealing with a stress assessment questionnaire and suggested strategies to reduce impact of stress on your daily functioning.
Section 3: Dealing with the message coming from the subconscious mind relating to one’s fear, courage and stressors at present through a Gestalt perspective Sandtray

Day 2: Wednesday 17 April 2024: Dealing with your Emotional awareness

Day two focuses on the following 4 sections:
Section 1: Highlighting aspects regarding emotional awareness about the Self to better the gaining of the Free Self resulting in self-actualisation.
Section 2: Assessment of the emotional awareness and how to address core aspects highlighted.
Section 3: Dealing with the message coming from the subconscious mind relating to one’s emotional strength at present through a Gestalt perspective Sandtray
Section 4: Embark on a “journal” journey to round off the second day.

Day 3: Thursday 18 April 2024: Getting in touch with the Free Self

Day three focuses on the following 4 sections:
Section 1: Assisting you to unlock your Free Self by decluttering the brain as well as unlocking the feeling of happiness
Section 2: Assessment and dealing with the different intelligences on physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
Section 3: Dealing with the message coming from the subconscious mind relating to one’s happiness at present through a Gestalt perspective Sandtray
Section 4: Embark on a “journal” journey to round off the third day

Focus areas in practice are health care, dealing with individual, group and family trauma, relationships, etc. Also a Registered Kobus Neethling Wholebrain practitioner dealing with the different brain preferences and dimensions, skills, relationships, communication skills, etc. Obtained a doctorate in Mental health to ensure that the emotions and brain health is addressed effectively. Further, added a Ph.D in Colour Intervention to broaden the support in a lifestyle wellness programmes.
Completed a Diploma in Ministry in 2001 and was Ordained as Pastor during 2002. This contributes to strengthening the spiritual levels of those experiencing uncertainties in this regards.

• What Pet weakness is practice that causes vulnerability?
• Unlocking Yourself by finding the Keys to unlock creativity

The ideal is to strive towards a high emotional awareness profile.

What is Colour Assessment?
The effect of colour is visible on the body, mind and well as spiritual levels of a person. The effect of colour therefore on the body takes place through the eyes, the skin and what the person eats. The assessment process enables the practitioner or counsellor to understand and to intervene relating to a specific identified condition within the person’s body.
The use of colour also indicates suppressed emotions and with the full understanding thereof the person can be assisted to better his living standards by making a few lifestyle changes.
Different methods or techniques are thus used to expose the client to the working of colour. The physiology of colour further takes place within the person’s brain resulting in a specific behaviour pattern.
The uniqueness of colour comes to the fore especially when dealing with people who do not want to talk. The integration of the different colours bringing about physical health, emotional stability as well as healing on all the different functional levels in the person’s day-to-day living.
The physical use as well as the emotional input during the counselling process are numerous and the presenter also focus on contra-indications and warnings when to be sensitive in the recommendation of specific colours.


NO other skills are necessary in order to participate in the course.


Target Audience: This workshop focusing on setting boundaries aims at introducing guidelines to ensure that boundaries are set affectively to address specific situations encountered. The course is targeted at adults (professionals, mental health practitioners, therapists, social workers, educators, parents and counsellors) who are interested in and want to be equipped in dealing with the traumatised individual, family or child. The skills and experiences gained by participants can be adapted to and incorporated in many professional working fields.

1. The history of Colour:
An overview will be given about the development and application of colour as a science.

2. Colour Zones: The basic 7 colour zones will be discussed 

3. Physical aspects: The physical aspects of colour in each zone will be attended to

4. Emotional aspects: Discussion on the emotional aspects in each zone will be outlined

5. Intervention methods: Suitable intervention methods will be highlighted such as resonance intervention, eating programmes, etc.

What is setting of boundaries? Boundaries are needed to structure specific wants, needs as well as behaviour. It gives a framework whereby values are formed, achievements can be measured as well as firm rules can be determined. The modification on a consistent level where needed will also be attended to.

This series offers more detailed knowledge pertaining to single colours.


 

This series of 10 workshops offers a unique opportunity to obtain a broader knowledge in understanding the effect of a single colour on physical, emotional and spiritual level of a human being.
The first nine workshops (1-9) offer you the opportunity to join in with the 2nd Year Colour intervention degree students and will you be able to share some of their excitement and joy in forming part of the “colour family”
A specific technique will also be highlighted for application to those who are in the Helping Professions when dealing with the client in need of assessment, upliftment and growth.
For those not in the Helping Profession field can benefit as individual on becoming aware of the attributes of a single colour in your life.
The last workshop (no 10) is to come in touch with oneself and to complete a certificate in single colour assessment and intervention.

Sleeping Patterns: Effective sleep is one of the most important aspects in practicing a balanced, vibrant lifestyle. It is true that people’s sleep patterns are deprived due to either, a busy mind, high load of personal and work challenges, reaching of deadlines in the workplace and has to work at night time, tiredness and many more.
Dealing with negative emotions: Dealing with emotions such as frustration and anger in practice are one of the serious challenges in today’s life. It is important to become aware of how you feel, how to contain the emotion as well as how to balance it.
In General: All the above mentioned aspects contribute to losing vitality and therefore also experience a loss in vitamins, brain chemicals, essential nutrients, imbalanced hormonal functioning and many more physical and emotional imbalances.

Course Content: The following is looked at in the workshops:
1. Colour White: (21 February 2024) Although white emphasises purity, honesty and openness it also indicates deeply rooted traumas the person has to deal with.
2. Colour Olive Green: (20 March 2024) Olive Green emphasises the necessity of an intensive detox programme on spiritual, physical and emotions levels. It also highlights the purity and honesty within a person enlightened nature and how to promote overall wellness.
3. Colour Lime Green: (3 April 2024) Lime Green stimulates atmosphere and bringing about calmness in the Soul when in balance. The other side of this colour is the frustration and stressed atmosphere experienced when not been stimulated within.
4. Colour Yellow: (15 May 2024) Yellow focuses on balancing stimulation vs frustration. It highlights the “sunshine” in life and how to practice it in everyday functioning.
5. Colour Indigo: (5 June 2024) The colour indigo deals with intuition, further highlights the practice of defence mechanisms which are not healthy to one’s uniqueness as well as overall well-being.
6. Colour Purple: (24 July 2024) The color purple is generally associated with royalty, luxury, nobility, power, and ambition. Purple is also used to represent creativity, extravagance, dignity, grandeur, independence, pride, peace, mystery, and magic. The application of the colour purple in one’s environment to strengthen the mentioned aspects will be addressed.
7. Colour Violet: (21 August 2024) Core attributes to violet are spiritual dignity, clarity, sparkle and zest for life. On the other side it highlights the busy brain, unanswered questions in mind and life force struggles.
8. Colour Black: (18 September 2024) Core elements in this instance are on the level of functioning a person will be how. Problems occurring not to ensure that these levels are reached are the suppressed “dreams” which never come to the foreground nor be spoken. Black furthers outline the frustration one experiences by not getting to the fulfilment of specific aims and objective to meet one’s dream.
9. Colour Cream: (2 October 2024) The main attributes to the colour cream are calmness, relaxing, encouraging and simplicity.
10. Colour Grey: (5 November 2024) Colour grey refers to the self-image and self-awareness of the person. It focuses on the strength a person wants to exhibit in all spheres of his life. Core elements is the acknowledgement of the self, levels of functioning and getting in touch with the self.

Also focusing on specialised areas of interest in emotional stability, mental stability, and brain health pertaining to a person’s well-being.
